SEPT 1 DEADLINE – IMPORTANT SALE REMINDERS

• Make any entry corrections and upload photos by Sept 1
• Sale goes live on CCI.live and catalog sent to printer Sept 2
  • Note: You can't switch singles to pens of 3 (or vice versa), but you can edit entries within the same sex/breed
• Link sent via text & also available on the THCDA website

Health papers required – upload anytime in the Next Sale app

Entry fees & shavings – an email will be sent to people who did not pay for Entries, check your email or contact Brad or Matt
Number of shavings paid = pens reserved some did not pay for pens. 

Monday, Sept 1st, deadline for corrections/changes/photo upload

Tuesday, Sept 2nd, the catalog goes to the printer.

Thursday Sept 4th

• 3:00 PM – Long-haul sheep may begin arriving

Friday

• 7:00 AM – Sheep move-in & check-in begins
• 10:00 AM – Begin check-in & paint branding
• 1:00 PM – All sheep in place; finish check-in & branding
• 3:00 PM – Begin placing pens of three with a preview
  • Consignors needed to help run pens through the ring
• 4:30 PM (or after preview ends) –
  • Consignor Meeting
  • THCDA Annual Meeting
• Evening – Supper on your own

Saturday

• 7:30 AM – Breakfast tacos served
• 8:00 AM – Show starts
• 11:30 AM – Lunch (brisket tacos with chips and salsa)
• 12:00 PM (Noon) – Awards for Youth Show
• 1:00 PM – Sale begins
• Evening – Sheep may remain in the barn Saturday night

Youth Agenda

Friday

• 10:00 AM – Youth sheep in the barn
• 12:00 PM – Record books due
• 1:30 PM –
  • Interviews with youth
  • Judging of sheep (without youth present)
• ~3:00 PM –
  • Start preview of pens of three
  • Youth commercial ewes to follow

Saturday

• 12:00 PM (Noon) – Youth awards
• 1:00 PM – Sale begins
  • Youth are expected to help load out their sheep
